Patricia Wells is an American journalist and author who has
lived in France since 1980. Restaurant critic of the International
Herald Tribune, she is the author of eight books: "The
Food Lover's Guide to Paris," "The Food Lover's
Guide to France," "Bistro Cooking," "Simply
French," "Patricia Wells' Trattoria," "L'Atélier
de Joel Robuchon," "Patricia Wells at Home in Provence" (honored
with the James Beard Award for Best International Cookbook), "The
Paris Cookbook" and her latest, "The Provence Cookbook." Patricia
is also the only foreigner and the only woman ever to be
restaurant critic for a major French publication (L'Express).
